Living Located in historic Bristol, Rhode Island, Franklin Court Independent Living offers independent living for seniors in a comfortable, secure setting.

   Ninety-eight apartments are housed in a complex formerly known as the Kaiser Mill. With some dating as far back as the Civil War, the buildings were used for a variety of industrial purposes until their rebirth as senior housing began in 1993. That year, the first rehabilitated building was transformed into subsidized housing for individuals 62 years and older.

   In 1997, a second building was revitalized to offer additional apartments for active seniors capable of independent living. Today, Franklin Court Independent Living is a vibrant part of the Bristol community where seniors from 62 to 94 live happily together.
